Make a positive difference and help a family like gedmanesh’s today

20-year-old Gedamnesh, from the Mazoria community in Ethiopia, is seven months pregnant. Every day is a struggle to get clean, safe water for her family. Thankfully, though, WaterAid has stepped in to give Gedamnesh the help she so urgently needs. Together with local partners, the charity is building a source of clean water for her community, bringing them new hope… and new life.

Gedamnesh says, “I hope the water will arrive by the time I give birth to my second child… it’s going to be one lucky child. When they grow up I’ll tell them, ‘We got this clean water just around the time you were born.’ It will be a story to tell!”

You can make a positive difference and help a family like Gedmanesh’s today!
