Our Community Fair Trade honey comes from Ethiopia. We source it from Beza Mar – a collective of beekeepers in the remote Sheka rainforest region. The beekeepers harvest the comb from handcrafted bamboo hives using techniques passed down through generations. The raw comb is harvested and the honey is separated, filtered and tested for quality. These traditional methods promote strong, healthy bees and deter logging. Our trade gives them a regular income, as well as helping to preserve the endangered rainforest and its wildlife.
